Having Faith in Change

There are moments in life when we can clearly see our patterns. We recognize the habits, fears, and thoughts that keep us stuck. We know when we’re holding onto control too tightly, replaying old stories, or protecting ourselves from discomfort. Awareness is powerful — but awareness alone doesn’t always create change.

As the quote says:

“We may see clearly how & why we get in our own way. But unless we have faith in a power greater than ourselves, we won’t step aside, we won’t let go. We’ll do the same thing & understand ourselves in the same way, protecting ourselves from the risk of change. Today, have faith in the changes to be made & all will be well.”

Change requires surrender.

Not surrender in the sense of giving up, but surrendering the need to control every outcome. Growth asks us to trust that there is something greater guiding us — whether that’s God, faith, purpose, timing, or simply the belief that life can become better than it is today.

The truth is, staying the same often feels safer than stepping into the unknown. Even when our current situation is uncomfortable, familiar pain can feel easier than uncertain growth. We cling to old behaviors because they protect us from failure, rejection, disappointment, or vulnerability.

But healing, growth, and transformation happen when we choose faith over fear.

Faith gives us the courage to release what no longer serves us. It allows us to stop carrying old wounds, old identities, and old limitations. It reminds us that change is not meant to destroy us — it’s meant to refine us.

Sometimes the hardest step is simply getting out of our own way.

When we stop forcing, stop resisting, and start trusting, we open ourselves to possibilities we couldn’t see before. We begin to grow into the person we were always meant to become.

Today, remind yourself:

  • You do not have to have everything figured out.
  • You are allowed to change.
  • You are allowed to let go.
  • You are allowed to trust the process.

Have faith in the changes unfolding in your life. Even if the path feels uncertain, trust that growth is happening beneath the surface. What’s meant for you will not pass you by.

And in time, you’ll look back and realize that letting go was the very thing that allowed you to move forward.
