Choosing Forgiveness
Forgiveness is a powerful choice. It doesn’t mean forgetting what happened or pretending that hurt never existed—it means choosing to focus on love rather than holding onto resentment.
As we begin this Monday, may we remember to give others the same grace we hope to receive. It’s easy to judge, criticize, or focus on someone’s faults, but there is so much beauty in choosing compassion instead. When we look beyond mistakes and see the innocence and humanity in others, we create room for peace, understanding, and love.
“Forgiveness is ‘selective remembering’- a conscious decision to focus on love & let the rest go.
May the spirit of Jesus deliver you today from the temptation to judge, to find fault, to criticize. May you be saved from a tendency to condemn. May your eyes be opened to the innocence in everyone.”
This Monday, let’s choose forgiveness, lead with grace, and look for the good in those around us. Sometimes letting go is the first step toward a lighter heart.
Have a great Monday!
